Facebook and Privacy are not friends

A lot of discussion recently about the always changing privacy settings on Facebook.

The graph by Matt McKeon at http://mattmckeon.com/facebook-privacy/ gives a sense of its evolution... a quite alarming trend toward a non-private world of 'friends'. And Kurt Opsahl's Blog presents a brief timeline of Facebook's Terms of Service changes through April of 2010: http://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2010/04/facebook-timeline

The Independent has also a good article on "All the information you didn’t realize you were sharing" http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/online-privacy-the-information-you-didnrsquot-realize-you-were-sharing-and-how-to-remove-it-1957987.html completed with useful links to help you stay on top of your online privacy.
